Why are people rude to young mothers? I'm 20 and I have a 2 year old, and am due in a week. A lot of 20 year olds might have trouble financially with two kids but I am financially secure. I have money set aside for both kids colleges, and love spending time with my little one. I just grew up faster then most of my friends. I have never been interested in partying/etc. We don't plan on having any more for a long time...
How should I respond to rude comments? I get them all of the time and it drives me nuts. I'm usually too shocked to come up with anything in response. You wouldn't believe how mean some people can be...
"Is he the daddy to BOTH?"
"What kind of birth control are you going to get on after this one?"
And theres much much more... *sigh*

The world is full of stereotypes, some true and others not. If it's untrue, then ignore it. People are jerks.

The only important thing is that you are making the choices of what you want. Ignorance is everywhere and you shouldn't let it affect how you feel about yourself. Focus on being a great mom and providing a loving home for your children. If people can't understand that then find some new friends.

just tell them you dont care... because you have the love from to adorable children. say you love being with your children and that you'll never be lonley.
people can be so mean and rude, and they just dont understand what others are going through.

Well I would say "We know what makes babies", We have planned for both of our children to grow up close ,While we are young enough to enjoy them .
