Because no matter where you buy them, somethings always back fires. You know you run in to your family priest, your teacher or your best friends mother.Or in my case once the box had no price on it,and the sales guy held the box up and YELLED "price check on the Trojans.....

First of all there is no age limit for condoms. Second, I would rather have someone look at me funny for buying condoms then look at me funny for having to buy a pregnancy test because I was too chicken to buy condoms. Quit being a punk, if you're too immature to buy condoms then you don't need to be having sex.

it shouldnt be, im sure you are not the only one who buys condoms, and im sure the cashier doesnt really care one way or the other, whenever you get wierd looks, you should just ignore it. the person probably isnt getting any. buying condoms should not be a shameful act. people have sex and its a wonderful thing. people try to taint the meaning of sex so much that it makes people feel ashamed. hold your head high girl, next time you buy some, and anyone says something to you, have a witty comeback ready, like... " yeah, so? what are you doing tonight? going home to play your x box?"

People are just way too uptight about sex. Don't worry about it, too bad if the checker gives you a weird look. Be proud that you're using protection and being safe. There's always the option of buying condoms online.

You mean Rockstar the energy drink?
Yeah, its funny when you buy a combination of items and then dont realize it (that someone could think your using them all together) when you get to the cash.
Its ok though, if your having sex you have to buy condoms, dont worry about the weird looks

Because unless you plan to fill them up at the sink and use them for water balloons, everyone knows what you're going to do with them.
My mother reports once having the same embarrassment from buying vaseline and cucumbers at the same time. There was NO connection!

because some people can think youre a whore...and sex is a private thing anyway
people arent supposed to know when youre gonna make love. if i was gonna be w/my dream man..id want people to know that im happy and im with him..but i wouldnt want them to know when we do it no matter how tempting it may be.
also some people can be raped and when they cant keep the rapist from doing it they have to use them. that would be embarrassing for people to know/think thats whats going on because its basically saying you cant protect yourself..known as weak and to not tell the authorities about it is embarrassing for some reason

Whether you are male or female.you should never be affriad to buy condoms or any type of contraceptive.....because safe sex is the best sex.
And if you are affraid to buy them then you shouldnt be having sex at all - it shows lack of responsibility and maturity in your personality as a human being,
And as for the person checking you out at the counter - what should it matter.....if he/she blushes so what ! you are being safe in what you do - and maybe they are not.

It does become easier to buy condoms as you get older and I think this is probably bc you are more mature and more ready to be having sex and confronting sex.
