my comp just gets slower no mater if i defrag,disk clean up,registry or delete/save my files to disk. now can someone tell me how to reset everything to default so its fast again.

find out by asking another question how to reinstall xp after saving all files to cd.also make time to do this.

Reinstall the Windows XP.

Format all your disk drives first and then re install windows XP and get all the latest updates and service packs!

You can try the system restore feature on your cpu or u can just reinstall the OS because to me it just sounds as if your cpu doesnt have enuff RAM or maybe there is and even worse prob. I hoped that helped

System Restore is a wonderful thing. Restore it back to a date when all was running ok.
