jacket size?

i am a 16 year old male and i usally wear size 30 pants - waist.
i am looking forward o purshacing an arcteryx jacket but am fighting over which size i should get. it says a small fits up to a 31 and med up to 33. should i buy my small to suit my size or buy size med so i will grow into the jacket? ps the jacket is really expensive

I think you should buy the med. because you are still growing. You could have a sudden growth spurt and outgrow your jacket in a month. Definitely get the med.

your pant size has absolutely nothing to do with the size of your jacket. You would need to measure how big you are around your chest. Jackets are measured by chest size.
