I date a man from Wisconsin and have met others from Wisconsin and one quality and trait that I have come to recognize in many of the Wisconsin men that is...is a set of values and standards, respect for women, old fashioned values that I do not always see in California men (where I am from). We live in San Diego and it is amazing the difference in these men and their families. There is a difference and if this is considered a sterotype, I would say it is one of the better ones. I have met other people over time who agree that these people have a different outlook on life, love, family, values, etc.

Beer swilling, square headed, cheese eaters. Actually I'm from Arkansas and met a lot of the Wisconsin folks at the bowl game in Orlando. I found them to be quite good natured and pleasant to be around.

That people from Wisconsin are all hicks/hunters lol.

But I don't think thats true, although most people in Wisconsin do hunt, but then again so do people in Minnesota. I live in MN and they have the same sterotypes here as in Wisconsin.

Do I believe them? Yes- SOME. Since I grew up 4 miles from the St Croix River - the border to Wisconsin.
Pretty much anything you say about Wisconsin you can say about Minnesota.
Except Swedes in Minn and Nords in Wisc- but you can't stop them from going over the border and intermarrying.
