I had a dream that, for some reason, I looked in the mirror at my eyes. When I did, they were caked over with this white sandy stuff. In the dream, I just nonchalantly dusted the stuff, and it just brushed away. But, when I woke up, the thought of the dream really weirded me out. All day, every time I think of the dream a get a shiver. I ran and took my contacts out (they're old I need to go get a knew box). I thought that would help, but I still can't shake the image of the stuff falling out of my eye. Any ideas on what this means.

Thinking about it is making me want to cry. And I can't get the image out of my mind.

Dreams are a tricky subject. There are many many theories regarding the meaning of dreams. But the fact of the matter is, nobody knows for sure, which means that dreams can mean everything or they can mean nothing. The point I'm trying to get across is that I don't believe people should put alot of stock in their dreams. I've had a few weird dreams too, really creepy stuff, but after awhile, I kinda just forgot about them. My advice: just try and forget about it. I realize that this advice kinda sucks, but every time you start to think about the dream, just stop and think about something funny, something that makes you laugh.

Your dream means that something in your life is somehow clouding your perception of a particular situation. You are not seeing things clearly. But don't worry, now that you've swept the "gunk" out of your eyes, things will soon become clear. You might not understand this now, but in time all things will be revealed.

Freud said that our dreams are a manifestation of ourselves. I would bet that since you have this one, you are hiding behind the sand as a way to protect yourself from harm. There is definitely something going on in your life that is causing you to think about your security.
Just guessing here, but good luck.
