why couldn't I possess those genes that would give me the perfect body, perfect face, etc... I know I could have it much worse, but I could also have it SO much better! How common is this feeling?

i used to hate mine too, and i still do hate some parts, but i just think about it this way: if you dont like it, change it and if u cant change it, then accept it. plastic surgery works wonders, but theres always gonna be something wrong with you and youll drag yourself into debt and michael jackson-dom before youre even halfway done. id rather just thank God im not as ugly as i could be and move on.

im 24 now, but when i was younger...say freshman in highschool...i HATED the way i looked. my mother and father are both knockouts and i was so jealous! but suddenly junior year i blossomed and suddenly became the "it" girl who all the boys wanted to date....so if youre young...give it time...it'll get better. we ALL have an awkward phase! :)

Perfect is relative.
I find tall girls with aaverage build attractive, yet our media finds finds short, emaciated girls attractive. Go figure.
