this young man my life was crazy then i didnt know anything about him please tell me are we still married i mean how do i check?i found out he claimed me on taxes and im stuck with a bill how do i get rid of this?

If he claimed you on his taxes that pretty well means you are married still. If the bill you are referring to is a bill from the IRS concerning the taxes you owe, all you need to do is write them a letter explaining that you have been in prison since Sept. 1995. You have not seen your husband all that time. If you're signature was on the tax form he submitted then he has committed a crime-forgery because you haven't seen him or signed any forms from him.

You need to hire a private detective to track him down. Have some papers drawn up and get a legal divorce. As far as him claiming you on taxes. when you find out where he is report him to the IRS for lying on the tax return.
