He seemed to be the one major flaw in the Bears lineup. With the way he kept fumbling and throwing interceptions he seemed(at least to me) to pretty much destroy any of the Bears' chances at victory.

Thoughts?

Manning played great even in the rain, so you can't blame it on that

Grossman did not cost the Bears the game because the Bears don't depend on Grossman. The Bears count on having a dominating defense and a strong running attack. The Colts kind of depend on Manning. Even when his numbers aren't great, if they win it has a lot to do with the way Manning leads the team. The inability to convert on third down on both offense and defense cost the bears the game.

Grossman has had a tough time quarterbacking in good weather most of the season. He played well 2 weeks ago. Didn't think he could play that good twice in a row especially in the rain as well as how the Colts defence had been playing in the playoffs.

Grossman not the only reason why they lost. But He was largely ineffective at moving the Bears.

No, I really dont think so. He did seem to throw a bunch of floaters in the second half, but his D could not match up with the Indy O. Plain and simple. Indy out played the Bears. The Bears had a lot of momentum, but could not match up with the game plan or the offensive line that the Colts had. Manning was due to win, sometimes it just works out that way.

Yeah i dont think necessarily its ALL his fault, but he did make a lot of wrong decisions.... i guess this game was really just the colts... they were on fire, its hard to keep your head up when you cant even get a first down... grossman is just not a good enough QB, i say if they had a different one, it may have been different, but I'd still give it to the colts.

You win as a team and you lose as a team. Blaming it on Grossman isn't right. The bears were just outplayed in all aspects today. And it was great ;)

Grossman really bombed tonight i dont expect to see him playing next year. His throughs were either to late or they hanged to much. I dont understand how a guy can be the best in the league the first 7 weeks and then just turn around and really suck

Ummm..i don't think it was mainly Grossman, to be honest it was the Bears D that couldn't tackle late in the game, it's one of the reason they were out there for so long.

The Bears may blame it on a number of things, but all said and done, the Colts won because they are the better team! Hehehe!

The Bears blame it on the rain, because that made the ball slippery and caused turn overs.

Everybody sees things different.
Grossman certainly didn't help his
cause, but the Bears lost because
they couldn't stop the Colt's running
game. At least. that's the way I saw
it.
