I am having trouble understanding the question. It appears that you
a) live in Australia?
b) earned 11300 from salary and wages?
c) received no welfare payments
d) paid 1,030 for food?
e) paid 500 for stationary?
f) have no independants
This frankly very vague but I would suggest several things to you-
1) private expenses such as food are not deductible
2) your income that will be subject to tax includes earning plus welfare payments (other than exempt benefits ie disability payments).
3) You wont pay tax on the first 6000
4) tax on taxable income (ie after allowable deductions) is as follows: $0 – $6,000=Nil, $6,001 – $21,600=15c for each $1 over $6,000, $21,601 – $63,000=$2,340 plus 30c for each $1 over $21,600, $63,001 – $95,000=$14,760 plus 42c for each $1 over $63,000, Over $95,000=$28,200 plus 47c for each $1 over $95,000
5) Check out the ATO website for more info:
