It depends. How old are you? How long have you been menstruating? Are you stressing out? Are you maintaining a normal body weight and body fat? (Girls with too little body fat stop menstruating). Are you working out excessively? You should get a pap smear and ask your ob-gyn to check out your reproductive system to make sure that you don't have a cyst or fibroids on your uterus.

Yes, A lot of women have different menstruation cycles. Being on the pill can eliminate this problem.

It does happen, esp. if you've had changes in your body weight or exercise habits. A lot of things affect the menstrual cycle besides pregnancy. If you haven't had it in that long, though, I would go to a doctor if I were you. It could be a symptom of a more serious illness.

I wouldn't think so. I'd go get checked out if I were you. Probably nothing, if you're stressing out about the possibility of being pregnant, that could do it. But better to be safe than sorry!

You need to call your doctor.I done the same thing and I waited so long that the lining in my uterus has thickened and I now have to have a biopsy. Hopefully it will come back fine but I may still need a D&C so dont wait call tomorrow.

if you just started your period within the last 2 years then yes it can be very normal it takes awhile to regulate. or if ur stressing or not eating right that can also have something to do with it i would get my thyroid checked if i were you it may be off ( your thyroid is what regulates ur period) and if its not one of the other things i listed then it may be ur thyroid and ths may or may not be a seriouse proble for you.
