Addiction is a scapegoat that helps ease what ever pain that person, be it celebrity or not, is going through.

It's probably a combination of things...stress for one...they do drugs to make all the PEOPLE just go away.

Another is...they have the money...so...why not?

Also it's part of the partying scene...they start just to be cool...and then things get out of hand.

We think because they're celebrities they should be beyond such things because so many people look up to them, but that's one of the reasons they start...If millions of people every day told you they loved you...and they didn't even KNOW you...but they would stalk you and try to take photos of everything you did...

Those poor people never get to be alone. Someone is always watching them. They can't even go to the store like normal people...and they can't just take a day off from work...because no matter where they go...someone will know them.

I'd probably start having an addiction to something too.

Those bastards can afford it.. all the time, every day.. and lots of it. Sometimes it can all be a publicity stunt, though you can usually tell when that's what's really going on.

I look at it this way. I am an addict now. If I was a celebrity I would consider it part of pampering myself.. a daily routine to life. Sad, no? All that money and nothing do with it except splurge on yourself, make YOU feel good, right? Of course, most of the popular celebrities right now do not donate a dime to charity.. (I give Oprah and Angelina props, love 'em!)

How many people actually do reality sober?!!!
It's just too hard. Try throwing fame and the media picking the meat off your bones on top of that! Famous people have the perks but surrender their soul to a big extent as well.

because deep down they are humans just like you and i. we all have problems and they r no different. they r pulled in many different directions though. the only thing different about them is that the lives that they live are put out for the public to judge. for that reason, I'd never wanna be famous..just rich..lol.
