i have a old compaq computer at 1.3ghz 50 gb with 256 ram and windows xp. this new one is 3.3ghz 120 gb with 512 ram or better at $350. should i buy it since i had my comop since i was in preschool

That is not a bad price for that computer. However, you could probably get a stick of ram for your old one for about $50 and, if you had a clean operating system reload on both computers, I doubt that you would even notice the difference between 1.3ghz and 3.3ghz. Just keep your computer maintained properly!

Great price.

Make sure they have a good return policy so you can try it at no risk ... you may want a non Celeron processor for higher performance & more usefull longevity.
