The fact that both Rhodes and Addai had such great games actually probably hurt both their chances for getting the award. I mean, how could you pick Rhodes over Addai or vice versa? So then I think they decided just to give it to the "team leader" for such a great team effort. Though if I had to choose, I'd want to give it to the offensive line. Everyone was talking about how tough the Bears' defense was, and yet the Colts' O-Line dominated them throughout the game. Not only did they run the ball down Chicago's throat, but the Bears got very little pressure on Manning throughout.

Peyton Manning runs that offense, and everything revolves around him. Regardless, I would have give it to Addai. He was Manning's favorite target and ran like a son of a gun the whole game. Too bad it couldn't be a tie between Addai and Rhodes.

If a RB was going to be the MVP it should have been Addi (70 some yards rushing and 10 rec, for 66 yards) he did great I know Rhodes ha 100 yards and a TD but Addi picked up more important first downs....and Peyton controlled the game big time and was very consistant. I think he was the MVP and deserved it.

You knew Peyton was going to get it. They would only have denied him if he did terrible. I thought Joseph deserved it with his receptions and rushing. He was awesome on both. And Im a huge Peyton fan. But heck Im just happy the Cotls have won. Ive waited since 78 for this night and it is fantastic. Go Colts!!!!!!! Super Bowl Champs oh yeah!!!!!!!

Peyton Manning been around longer and even if he was not the MVP, they would say he deserves it. Mostly because the NFL would get larger revenues as a result of making him MVP.

I also think Addai should have gotten it, he was a major part of the running and passing game.

I'm agree, and I'm very upset with that. It must a co-MVP both RB's played better than Manning.
