My best friend from primary school spelled her name Catherine. My mum's middle name, 2 aunt's middle names and cousins' first name is also spelled that way. However, my aunt went out on a limb and against the grain with my cousin and called her Mackenzie Katherine. Personally, I love y's so I like Kathryn.
