So things have changed and sometimes change hurts, but if it doesnt kill you it should only make you stronger. Dont let it get you down, whenever you can; just say things or show that you can still be there for him/her. This once, close friend could just be going through something where he/she might need space from everyone, in order to return to their original state of being. Give it time either they'll come through or you'll get over it. Good luck.................

yeah my best friend from high school and i just drifted apart. we both wanted diffrent things out of life. it's sad and i'm sure you'll mourn the loss, but it is completely natural for people to grow apart! but don't worry, as you get older you will find new friends that are on the same path as you are!!

definatley, i'm experiancing right now. she has been my best friend for five years (not counting this one, cuz she really isnt anymore) but she just started to not talk to me or do anything with me, and she sits right next to me at lunch. so i just ignore her now, and found many other friends that can be there for me when i need them.
