As it is a very delicate and potentially dangerous endeavor, it is most certainly best left to trained professionals. But you strike me as a bright young person, so I think you should give it a shot!

No, anyone can do it well, infact, I've found that the untrained professionals are far better at it than anyone. When the response to every explaination starts with, "Well, I simply don't understand how..." then you know you've found a mindless speculation expert! Go to a manufacturing facility that is not currently putting out any product. Look for the clean person who is barking out illogical solutions. There's your dude!
