The real question is "Will Bush ever care that the U.S. is not wanted in Iraq." I'm sure he knows quite well. It's all a part of his power trip. They are turning the U.S. into a dictatorship. Just watch, you'll see soon enough. Watch Martial Law Rise of the Police State by Alex Jones. Check out www.infowars.com, you can also find most of the videos on youtube.com or google video. We The People need to quit being so ignorant to the how destructibve our world leaders really are. They could care less about us, so why give them so mch power?

You really should stop watching CBSNBCABCCNN and talk to some Military folks who have been there. According to firsthand accounts I have heard, the US is welcomed by nearly all except the Sunni minority. The Sunnis murderously oppressed the majority Shia population in a fashion similar to the much maligned (and rightly so) Apartheid in South Africa, only in a much more barbaric fashion.

After so many of their brothers ended up in Saddam's mass graves, there should be little surprise that the Shiites would crave some measure of revenge, along with the Sunni desire to be back in power. They are killing each other, doing so not only to wound the other faction, but the Sunnis hope to undermine the US presence there, as they perceive the US to be supporting the Shiites. If the US leaves, they think the Shiites will be vulnerable.

This battle is occurring in and around Baghdad. The rest of the country is relatively quiet for the most part.

No, as far as he is concerned, he heard from a higher father who told him to go out and be the Great Democratizer. He was to go forth and cram democracy down peoples' throats. They will thank you for getting them killed in the name of Democracy and freedom. He is more concerned with his legacy which is looking more and more like the person who started the ball rolling towards WW3, than how many people are sacrificed on the altar of his ego. Bear in mind, this is the same moron who has already minimized the deaths of our troops by saying that in the long run the Iraq war will just be a comma in U.S history. Boy does he support our troops.

"The latest truck bombing should give a hint..."

It clearly gives the hint that the radical factions in Iraq are demented and feel that indiscriminately murdering innocent people will somehow further their agenda by terrorizing those who want freedom.

The problem is, he doesn't care. He has an agenda and he isn't going to let anything or anyone stand in the way of that. Of course, since he hasn't told us what his agenda is, we can only assume it is oil.

In a recent poll in Iraq, 80% of the people want us to leave, I think that means they do not want us there.

It's not a matter of if we're welcome or not. We are at war and we will leave when it's time to leave. We will leave once the mission is accomplished.
