...our national interest, why would Hillary start attacking them first? Is her message really to the ignorants and proletariet?

The Democratic philosophy is that Big Government is good.
The Republican philosophy is that less government is good; let the business and free enterprise support the country.

Hillary would tend to support vast social programs by high taxes to business and people. Social security is an example of that.

SHe is not a friend of ANY business.

Her "attack" was token at best. The amount of funds affected is a small percentage of the total government perks for the big oil corporations.

It is more of a tactic to show the she and the other democrats are not "pro-oil" like Bush & Co. A more accurate description might be not as obviously "pro-oil".

All Democrats and Republican administrations have had very similar foreign policies, and most, if not all, have used the CIA and covert missions, in addition to overt military actions, to enforce US Corporate desires in countries around the world.

Most of the recent push has been for oil corporations, but we have used our military/covert assets to secure other resources in the world for other corporations.

I am not sure when our parties both decided that US corporate interests should define US foreign policy, but it was a serious mistake. Corporate interests and consumer/employee (ie US Citizen) interests are directly at odds much of the time.

Ive been on the attack for years. I cant wait till we run out of oil and finally have peace and mind again.

The economy was tanking at $3 a gallon, what if it goes higher, like to $4 and it will.

Oil companies are not our friend buddy. They are our biggest enemy. They are terrible for our world. We have better and less expensive ways to get oil, butthose ways are ignored by our dear ones in government offices. For isntance are you aware of hemp oil? Way better for the environment, and could be less expensive, but at the moment it would not seem that way because tere are very few people willing to back it.

Her message is populist bilge that she thinks will get her votes. She will say & do anything to anyone to get what she wants. Let's hope that a majority of voters are smart enough to see through her. It won't be aesy with the mainstream media in her pocket.
