whats do u think of the soap opera days of our lives and what is your favorite story line and what do u think will happen the future???

I'm kind of upset John Black is being written off. He's my favorite character. I like the Lucas & Sammy storyline right now.

My s-i-l got me started watching DOOLs about six years ago. Its funny, because my parents got into it too. They're retired and while they are very active, everyday at 1:00 p.m. my father will come into the house to *eat lunch*. This means, sit down and watch Days with my mom...and most times, he can tell me what happened better than she can LOL
My favorite story line of all times, since I've been watching....was the Brady/Chloe storyline. I just really liked them together. Remember when they sang together in the gazebo? It was so beautiful. They had excellent chemistry......like super-couple chemistry and its a shame that TPTB wrote their story-lines the way they did.
90% of the time, the entire show cracks me up. I can't figure out why the writers mess with the fans by painting only some of Kates fingernails.....that will never make sense to me.....are they just seeing if people are paying attention??
Overall, its a good show. It can be farfetched at times....but you just have to keep in mind that this is a soap opera.....while the goings on are based in reality......it is not reality.....and these people really have no control over what they do, say or think. They are acting....and if you just watch with an open mind and realize that this is just a story.....something to get lost in for an hour....then it can be quite enjoyable. It always makes me laugh when I read how upset fans are by soaps. I know TPTB do gauge fan feedback...and will sometimes, take character story lines the direction that fans want them to go in....but I, myself, just get lost in the story and enjoy what I'm watching. If I'm not enjoying it, I turn it off.
What do I think will happen in the future? Stefano will arise from the dead....again.....Belle and Shawn will break up...again....Marlena will become loony....again.....Lexie will not ever decide which profession she really likes, the doctor, the cop......she IS Superwoman....with a little Tek on the side ;)
Okay, enough....I love it and watch when I can!

Sorry to say but I have lost all interest in the soap. It really needs something exciting and more love scenes.They seem to be more interested in bickering and fighting. A wedding and some love would be nice to see for a change.One time there were lots of steamy scenes but now they are just boring.Everything is way to predictable.You can always figure out what is going to happen long before it does. If they bring back Kristin/Susan and make it comedic again it would be great. I loved Susan.She was so funny.Please let them wake John up AGAIN and get on with the storyline.I only watch the show a couple of times a month and I am still caught up on everything because nothing has really changed.Anyway, sorry if I made you upset.I am just a little disappointed in the show lately.

It's the only soap I've ever been hooked on, and it's been over 20 years since I started watching it. Stopped for a while, but now that we have High-def Tivo with lots of space, I am recording it again.
I can't compare to others, but I like it.
I guess my favorite current story line is Chelsea and Nick. I believe in both redemption and in the nerd getting a pretty girl, and this combines both. I think they will end up together, but after a LOT of strife stemming from the fact that he slept with her monther, and with her treating him badly. I also think he'll continue to mature and be made more and more handsome, which is kind of too bad/shallow.

Um, lets see, i am not sure about that with the current situtation. But i am thoroughly impressed with the Belle, Shawn, Claire, Philip, Willow, and now Nick and Chealsea situation. But, now that Willow is pregnant i want to see who the father is. But i haven't seen much of Hope and Bo, and i want to see more of them. Um, the John situation will soon be over I know that has to end. I am waiting to see how long Sami can keep the secret that her baby is EJs and not Lucas' unless it is Lucas' because they had sex first. Um, Kate and EJ sure make a good couple dont they. I remember the first time that they made love, and i swore there were fireworks exploding out of the screen. But ya know, there is so much going on right now, like Max and Mimi, i wonder how long that is going to last since our darling Abby has a definate crush on him. And what about the body, Mimi, Bonnie and Mimi's brother, i mean, why would Bonnie kill there dad, i mean that makes no since. And for the person that asked, Jack and Jennifer moved to London with Jack Jr. to work at a newspaper like they always wanted to, occasionaly someone asks Abby how her parents are doing. Let's see, i cant wait until they bring back Christie Clark(Carrie), i got to meet her and Austin Peck(Austin Reed) at a signing for the national shop like a soapstar contest. it was so cool, Christie is so much tanner and pretty in real life, and Austin actually has gray hair, but dam he was hot!!!!!! Ok i think i covered it.

Growing up my mom always watched General Hospital, I favored Days of our lives. It's just written better and I always liked whatever was going on with Sami. She has some great storylines especially when she would do anything to break Carrie and Austin up. I used to watch it when Blacky was on-John Stamos and he dated Jennifer. I don't own a tivo, so I miss it now that I work, but it's a treat to watch on my days off or when I'm sick.( wink wink)

I like Mimi's storyline. And the whole thing with Sean and Belle. I wanted to cheer when they took their daughter. I haven't been watching for too long, but Marlena and John black get on my nerves. Of all the cast I think they are the worst actors and I have no desire to see John awake.

I love Days of Our Lives. I started watching in 1996 when I was in college. I loved Eileen Davidson, and was absolutely CRUSHED when Joseph Mascolo (Stephano) went to B&B and when Eileen went to Y&R. I hope they will bring both of them back now that their contracts are both up on B&B and Y&R. They have certainly left the door open for Stephano -- he was a great comic relief on the show! But Sami is my favorite character of all time. What a great multi-faceted character! You love to hate her, yet can't help loving her, too. John gets on my nerves with his facial expressions and Roman's nasal voice irritates me!

I love Days of Our Lives!! I am addicted. I would have to say my favorite story line right now (though it's hard to pick just one) would have to be Sami and Lucas...I'm really pulling for Sami's happiness with Lucas. It really makes me sad that she was trying to do so good and she was forced to have sex with E.J. and is now pregnant with his baby. I really feel bad for her. I hope she and Lucas end up together and are genuinely happy.
Oh and I think it's really crappy that Philip was granted custody of Claire and I'm really glad that Belle and Shawn took her back!!

I watch DOOL because my Grandmother used to, and it reminds me of being with her when I see it on TV.
I like the storyline with Mimi and think it is kinda interesting that her mom could have murdered her father.
What ever happened with Jennifer and Jack? I haven't seen them in a while. Did Jack die?

The best storyline is between Sami and EJ, I love Lucas and all, but Sami is a bad girl and she needs to have EJ's baby!! That would be one evil family!!! Oh yeah, isn't the new Philip HOT!!! I don't care who he ends up with as long as its somebody soon!!!
