try this first go to a book store look in either a Beckett or a tuff stuff magazine that gives prices for sports cards find the year and type and condition of card. Then of course you can add value to that for him being a MVP today but you need to know where to start. If the card happens to have a serial number on it like 450/2000 its worth even more. Then you can try e-bay or your local sports card shop might be interested. You need to put it in a protective sleeve for it wont get damaged. Don't believe some of the early answers research for you don't get ripped off.

The card value will increase, but to fans at this time would pay much more, then what it is really worth. Go to eBay and see how much people are bidding on it.
