It sounds like low self esteem. You require the constant gratification of having someone tell you how great you are, and when that fades as life goes on and things get a little mundane you seek it elsewhere if whoever you are with slips and doesnt give you your daily dose of ego boost. Learn to love and accept yourself in a healthy way before you seek love from someone else.

Perhaps you had a traumatic childhood. Maybe it's not the love and attention you are seeking as much as the challenge or chase. If you have been through alot of chaos as a child, the boredom of normal life is hard for you to accept. Nothing is "wrong" with you but you should seek out a professional to talk to. It will help.

I agree with the first answer: you have self-esteem issues. You need so much that no matter how giving and loving your partner is, that person is eventually drained of any ability to care for you.

You need therapy. Yesterday.
