Sell them to Cheapo discs or one of those used CD shops...may as well get some of your money back to give the TV Evangelist who will tell you you need to send him or her money to be born again in Christ!

Ok well first of all I will pray for you as becoming a Christ follower is a serious undertacking and is a big deal but hey at least we can party in heaven when we die! Anyway as a youth pastor I must say the trash can... is an obvious answer. Some people suggested selling them but if you feel convicted (which all people dont and that is their own belief) then why first of all give it to someone else when you dont think it is good for the mind/soul/spirit and also why would you want to sell em cause if you feel that is an issue then in theory you would be making money off of sin.. and that in my mind doesnt sit well with me.

Don't throw them away...there are plenty of places who could use the music. Try schools, nursing homes or other alternate living (senior/assisted living), Goodwill stores, homeless shelters, etc. I am happy that you have chosen Christ and His way of doing things. It's a big decision to make when you want a change in your life. I suggest that you go at this walk with the Lord with strength and purpose and with a calm and wise head for making decision. Throwing away everything that might 'appear' sinful is not necessarily what God asks of us. Change and making a change is a growing process. He does not expect us to jump right into the pool and instantly know how to swim. It's a day by day process of walking, learning, praying and being taught what Jesus said, what He did, and how He wants You to fulfil your life in Him. Go easy.

2. Sell on ebay.
3. Take to music store and sell or trade for Christian music.
4. Have a yard sale.
OR
Just put in trash can.

The suggestion:
""break the bondage of sin." I found it liberating to destroy them entirely. Fire, hammer, whatever. "
Lets just get this act into prospective a little.
You have found Christ, again. Christ. A person of peace for all men.
You then set out to celebrate his rediscovery,
by destroying thing. You used violence /
aggression to remove items that you no
longer want in your life. I hope you never
have to consider getting a divorce.
Where as donating to a charity you would have helped them raise money to help other people.

Brother, I did the same thing when I was born again! Praise God! Anyway, to "break the bondage of sin" I found it liberating to destroy them entirely. Fire, hammer, whatever. For me, it was kind of symbolic. Also, please don't sell them at a used store as some may suggest. If your sin isn't good enough for you, it isn't good enough for anyone else.
