Skateboarding for girls?

Is it stupid for me to start skateboarding since im a girl? And if not what are some good sites for begginers to learn to skateboard? Please help.

I am a girl and i love to skateboard, i think there is nothing wrong with it. If you want to get a good website for a beginner
skateboarder, it really depends on what kind of things you want to learn. i personaly like to do the tricks and stuff, if your the same way you may want to look up skateboard trick tips or something similar to that, i am sure you will find tons of websites and videos for some trick tips.

So not weird. I'm a girl! I LOVE to skateboard. For sites, look up maybe skateboarding for beginners, or check out the book Skateboarding for Dummies. ( not that your a dummy and all. )

There is nothing wrong with girls skateboarding. I always wanted to try it, but I just never bought a skateboard. I guess it's because I didn't want to spend my money. But there is nothing wrong with that.

Of course not, in fact, i think its awesome when chicks start skating.

Most chicks are too prissy or ditzy to start skating, but when you start skating, it really toughens you up.


i think you should start skating, and if you cant balance perfectly, just roll around in circles and up and down your street to perfect it before you learn any tricks.

shuvit, kickflip, casper, primo flip, heelflip.



Chances are that other skaters will call you a poser, all skaters go through that when they first start skating, i did.

Just ignore them and prove them wrong, but make sure your skating for yourself, not to be cool or fit in. If your not doing it for yourself, it will be way less fulfilling
