There are many wonder ful female characters on the show. Who is your favorite and why?
Mine is Meredith. She has Derek; need I say more.

Bailey is number one. Izzy is number two.
Bailey is dedicated, hard working, compationate, and focused. She thinks things though, but is willing to change as the conditions change. She is willing to stand firm when that is the best course of action. She really has it together.
Izzy has her problems. The cutting of Denny's cord was a huge mistake. It was not well thought out. Life conspired against that plan and she did it for the right reasons, but it sure turned out wrong.
If she had deposited the check when she got it, the interest would have paid for medication for dozens of poor people every day. I know she was under a lot of stress, and remorse, but it was a mistake not to deposit it.
Her heart is in the right place, she is just young. She is a great surgeon and will probably do very well. Her biggest fault is that she is too nice and too caring. That might just be her downfall as a surgeon.

Mine is Katherine Heigl as well and I was thinking the same thing about Pompeo and her character Meredith Grey. She looks like she's stoned most of the time. Am I wrong is it different than stoned.

i always like meredith too, but sometimes izzy. although sometimes izzy can bug me, like when she just stood and stared at the hospital for a whole episode, who does that. your right, meredith had derek....but then shouldnt we hate her?

Katherine Heigl. Ellen Pompeo has this expression on her face which makes her look weird. Sandra's cool and all but Katherine is great.

Dr. Bailey because she is funny when she is assertive with all the interns. She also shows a vunerable side. Very believable.
