too cold?? how cold is too cold and where is it too cold at?
you are very trusting....if i were a molester my next question would be "what school has a terrible heater system?" and you would answer since i already have you talking. your school name + your picture = a lot of trouble for you!!! be aware in the future!!!

Congrats! Around here they're just gonna delay school for 2 hours because of the cold and Colts celebrations. No kidding!

Cold, Super Bowl delaying Vigo schools

TERRE HAUTE — The Vigo County School Corp. will have a two-hour delay Monday because of anticipated extremely cold weather and late night events associated with the Super Bowl.
The wind chill factor could be about 15 degrees below zero on Monday, said Superintendent Dan Tanoos. Those temperatures can cause problems starting school buses.
“I want to make sure it’s a little lighter and safer,” Tanoos said.
Also, many people are expected to stay up late watching the Super Bowl, which could present another safety issue. He wants to make sure everyone, including student drivers, gets enough sleep.
“The delay will give students and staff extra time after being up late watching the Super Bowl,” according to a news release from the school district.
There will be no morning kindergarten and no early morning special education preschool/early morning day care in the elementary schools because of the two-hour delay.
Buses will pick up students two hours later than normal, and at this time, the afternoon bus schedule will remain the same.
“If conditions worsen, please listen to your local media stations for further announcements,” the news release stated.
Tanoos said he wanted to get the word out early so families can plan for the two-hour delay

I just love being a Texas gal!!!! It has snowed a grand total of one evening so far this winter. Wow, -16 wind chill where you are from......I will remember that when I am outside tomorrow in the 60 degree weather complaining about how cold it is........

I hope they close school tomorrow where i live! It's gonna be like -15 degrees! But they NEVER make up their mind till morning of. The weather report could say it'll -50 by noon and they'd STILL wait!
