I'm sick of having to take it to a garage to get it done. I have daytimes off and would like to know how to do it myself. My dad doesn't have time to show me, so I thought I'd come here!

I am sick of having to take it to a garage, I never have time when they aren't busy to take my car in and frankly I would just like to be able to work on my own car. It's a skill that comes in handy, like knowing how to change my own tires if I need to. Which I have before. And I don't have an owners manual, I didn't realize that when I bought the car, but I am planning to order one soon. I just don't want to take my car to a shop anymore.

Guess you should have stuck with that 4 door Wrangler you were so proud of. Maybe when they folded the inline 4 into a V something went wrong. Good luck

it;s really easy theres a bolt right under your oil tank and its a big bolt but to find it you might want to get some synthetic oil and a maintence and repair manual for your car and look it up...

requires tool to remove oil filter, and wrench to remove oil drain plug and if you have these, then jack up car, remove plug in the oil pan, let oil drain, then remove filter, and install new filter, put drain plug back in--but don't overtighten, and then add new oil to vehicle..4.5 quarts..but check dipstick to assure correct level after adding the 4 quart.
