I think that in some cases, especially with older teen moms with a good support system, teen moms can do just fine and in some cases even better than older moms. There are good things about having your kids young (18+ though, not 14!)
I agree that if you can't spell the words "teenage" and "pregnant" then you are probably not ready to be a mother and need to finish school.

The question is not what others think, because in general, 15 year olds having sex (and unprotected) is looked down upon by society.
The real question is, if you are pregnant, do you really want to be saddled with a child at your age? There is no question about it, a child for a 15 year old is nothing but an albatross.
This brings up the heated topic of abortion. I am not only pro choice, I am pro-abortion in many circumstances, and this is obviously one of them. First of all, you are in no position to be able to provide for a child, you have no income, it sounds like there is no father figure involved, and it will ruin your life.
A lot of the pro-life supporters would say that you should have the kid and then put it up for adoption. Ok, two problems with that. First, you have to go through the entire pregnancy, which will be painful and permanently stretch your body. Second, unless you are white and the father is also white, there's absolutely no demand to adopt black babies, and babies of other races have a better shot at adoption, but it's not a sure thing. If the baby is black, there's a good chance a foster home will be the most likely destination for it.
And a lot of people don't like this attitude, but it's the truth. It's not racist, it's not bigoted, it is the absolute reality of the situation.
You need to tell your mother and/or father, have them get you a pregnancy test kit so you can find out if you are pregnant or not. If you are, you should absolutely get an abortion. There is a time for having children, and it is not at age 15. Pregnancy is not some uncommon phenomenom, you can get pregnant again in the future when you're in a better position to have a child and be able to raise it.
And if you are not pregnant, you need to consider yourself very fortunate, learn from this scare, and stop letting guys screw you without using condoms. There is absolutely no excuse for not using a condom every single time, a pregnancy can be aborted, but you could get diseases that can kill you.

Bad idea, of course.
Many reasons...
You body is still developing, give it a few years before putting the stress of pregnancy on it
It is unlikely that you are emotionally mature enough for a child.
It is unlikely that you are financially prepared for a child
You have not yet mastered a career or a stable family home life for a child...it is not fair to the child or you
You likely have no husband to support you in this. Single parent households are harder on all involved. Millions have tried it...many fail. Even if you were a famous actress with staff and servants, it would be hard for you at that age. What are you trying to prove? and to who?
It puts undo stress on you to balance school, work, childcare and social life.
I could on much more, but you get the idea.
It is a serious business to bring a child into this world...don;t you want to give them the best chance at being happy and successful?

Think its a bad idea. A person between the ages of 15-18 is still a child, they are still growing up, therefore i think they are incapable of raising a child. But go to a doctor and make sure you are not pregnant. And if you are talk with you parents and figure out the best way to deal with the situation.

I think you need to get some more education. Start by going to Planned Parenthood or another clinic for a pregnancy test, Pap test and disease screening. You may need to ask an adult for help: your parents, a friend's parents, a teacher, school nurse, relative, pastor. If you are pregnant, you have a lot to learn about babies. If you are not, you need to learn about safer sex so you can avoid pregnancy and STDs. Right now you can relax because worrying about your period will make it even later. It is not a good idea to get pregnant at 15 because you need health insurance, a good income, more maturity and more education.

Hey sweetie, I'll bet the first thing you are is scared, right? Speaking from experience, the first thing you need to do is find someone you trust to help you test. Then, IF you're pregnant, you have to tell your parents. Regardless of what you think, they love you. When my daughter came to me and told me, yes, I was hurt, and disappointed, but my first and foremost thought was how to help her. Is your guy in the picture? My daughter was 17 and had known the dad since she was 13. They were planning to get married when she got out of school, so it was a case of just moving the wedding up a bit. Not knowing your situation, I can't speak for you. But whatever you do, PLEASE DON'T QUIT SCHOOL! Education is the key to your future! My daughter quit and she just got her GED, 5 years later. She missed out on a lot of opportunity by not finishing school. Another thing...if you are pregnant, PLEASE don't abort your baby. There are hundreds of loving couples out there who are begging to adopt babies! Don't make a bad situation worse. Teen pregnancy isn't ideal, but it's not the end of the world.

WOW! your typing skills need a little help lol
I frown on teenage pregnancy personally! Unfortunately there are alot of kids having kids these days. I also believe that these kids should have these children not necessarily raise them themselves but there are alot of families out there trying to have babies and cant.
Whatever the reason a teenager gives it's absolutely NOT good enough reason to Abort!
You want to go around and have sex? Use protection, to avoid pregnancy and STDs. REALLY, REALLY, REALLY... don't want to get pregnant as a child? DON'T HAVE SEX!!!!!!!!
PLAIN AND SIMPLE..... IT'S NOT A MATTER OF BEING A GOOD MOM AT THAT AGE IT'S CAN YOU AND YOUR BABY BE GIVEN EVERYTHING YOU AND YOUR BABY NEEDS!!!

Personally I don't think it's a good idea. You may be able to take care of it but how are you going to support it? And if you're thinking your parents, well they won't always be around. And think of the kid, what if the dad walks out? Your kid's going to grow up without a father. It sounds nice to raise a child at this age. Gives you something to live for when you're feeling down. But wait. At least until you're done school. If you do chose to keep the child if you are pregnant, good luck hun.

If you are old enough to get pregnant then you better be old enough to be a mommy and not let someone else raise your baby. For GOD sakes use a condom, you have no idea what its like to lose your childhood to a baby. It isn't right and babies shouldn't have babies but it happens so do what you have to do but get all the information and get educated before making any life killing decisions. Oh and BAD IDEA.
