I think it's up to the couple and their families. As long as they both have an adequate support system and their families are OK with it, I don't see why not.

You asked if it was 'wise' for a disabled couple to marry. The only thing I can think of that may not be wise, would be if it somehow affected you financially. If the two of you are receiving any type of financial assistance, you might want to check to be sure you wouldn't lose some of that assistance, should you marry.

Otherwise, it would be very wise for a disabled couple to marry! Actually, it would be wonderful! My uncle and his wife are both in wheelchairs and they have a great time together!
Good luck!

I feel that if you want to get married that this is your choice and can be wise and right... I dont see why you should not get married as long as you are in love and are marrying each other for the right reasons. I wish you the best. I feel that you would compliment each other and be able to help each other and understand each other as well! I think this is actually a good idea.

It depends how disabled you two are. If you are wheelchair bound and already hired someone to help you two out, then I am sure it is okay for you to marry. If you two can manage with doing things around the house or can go places with having a van that is accessible for your needs, then I think you two can make it! And, if you two love each other, that will work too!

Just make sure that your house is accessible for your needs, it will save you lots of hardship! (smile)

Why would it be wrong? If you are in love with someone then it shouldn't matter. Also if you can take care of yourselves then why not? Accept the love and live a happy life just like everyone else!!!

do they love each other?? are they capable of taking care of themselves?? If they have caretakers involved they should have a say in things but it should be their choice not anyone elses if they were to marry or not.. love doesn't discriminate ..
