Could be the stereotypes associated with white males. Also it is not as accepted in the black community for a black woman to date out as it is for a black man to. People kind of look at it like "men will be men" but for a black woman to do it she is more frowned upon. People always assume things about her or about him. Like, "Oh she couldn't get a black man so she had to go white." or they think she is using him or its only about the sex. I have never had more drama in my life from other people as when I have dated white men. Always having to defend the relationship. But that didn't stop me from being with who I wanted to but for some women they just don't want the criticism.

Hmmm so are you saying none of the Black females you were interested in romantically wanted to date you?
True though that many are not interested, most of my AA friends are not interested in dating outside their race.
Just as I know many who are not interested in dating outside
their race, but also their religion.
But some folks are open, you just find those.
Maybe try an on line site.

My boyfriend is white and I love him. The differences in our ethnicities is never an issue between us. Others try to judge us with racism but we don't let that bother us nor do we judge ourselves by such a superficial standard. He's the absolute best!

there are many social pressures. i am personally attracted to all races including white but have never dated a white guy bc my family would never let me hear the end of it. its one of those things where everybody talks about you behind your back. black guys start to look down on you especially. a lot of white guys don't understand hard it can be for a black woman to stand up to her family and the social customs of her culture.

I'm not afraid. I'm dating one right now, and we're in a very serious relationship. I think you're assuming too much. Have you ever approached a black girl?

"Like, "Oh she couldn't get a black man so she had to go white." or they think she is using him or its only about the sex."
lol with the moms in the ghetto pumping out 9, 10 kids by 13 different fathers I doubt it is an issue of not being able to get a Black man.
More likely, most White men don't find Black women attractive unless they are half (Halle Berry, etc).
Where as, Black men hit on the fat White girls so the girls get attracted to Black men because most White guys aren't going to go hit on a fat White girl at a club the way Blacks do.
That's why when you see a Black male/White female couple the woman is usually overweight (like 99%) of the time.
