No, why would you think that? We all go on holiday in Southern Europe, and we love the people there, well I do anyway. I think some people have more of an issue with Eastern Europeans, you know with immigration and stuff.

We don't look down on Southern Europeans but we do have plenty of issues with Eastern Europeans. I think we have more in the UK than there are left in their own country.

No more than Southern Europeans look down on Northern Europeans. It goes back to the concept of race. At one time, they spoke of the English race, the German race, the French race, the Italian race and so forth. There's no denying that there are certain physical characteristics that come from geographic separation, and even different characteristics of temperament from that separation. It's analogous to the differences we see in breeds of dogs or cats. When there are conflicting desires and goals however, it's easy to start judging yourself as good and others as bad, and it becomes racist.
