A high number of jobs pay in that range, which is not really high
A low level clerk in a financial firm will start around 45,000 and will make in the low 100's simply processing in a back office environment.
The risk is that your job can be moved overseas, you can be replaced by someone younger who get paid less, or your job can be automated. My job involves determing if we can subcontract jobs overseas, which displace employees in the US.
The more important aspect to me is asking myself if I can quantify what I add to an organization. To prove my worth and then ask if this worth is something that I alone can deliver or can anyone deliver it.

here is the scoop, dear.
i am an art history major & i only had to take 2 science courses. math was not required, but instead a foreign language. i probably won't make a whole lot even with a masters, but it is the area i like.
see, you must take some basic classes that do not pertain to your major no matter what it is.
what you want to do is to browse the college catalogues for majors that do not require much from these areas.

science and math are general education classes so you will have to take some basic courses in your first two years of college, no matter what. You can find some easy ones to meet the requirements and then just find something you enjoy. Money ain't everything. Good luck!

Interior Design...its alot of work in itself but all you usually need is basic college math..not really any science. There might be math involved in the architectural part but not too much.

Law -- Requires you go to law school after college, of course; no specific major, but I suggest philosophy, political science, or history.
