Well, not sure how to answer, but a few things come to mind. Are you thinking about getting pregnant as a revenge thing? Cause unless you and your hubby are already thinking about having another child, that's a pretty big burden to saddle a child with. But, IF you are already planning to have another baby, I have to say you'd be within your rights to wait til the baby is born to tell them, specially if they make no overtures toward the 4 you already have. Some people just don't seem to be 'wired' to be g'parents. It's a pity, cause they don't realize the joys they are missing out on. I've dealt with g'parent problems myself and I know what you're going thru. Anyway, keep your chin up and remember, what goes around comes around...one day they'll wake up!

I think you are being childish. Just let them know you are having a baby and then don't expect them to come and visit. The only reason you would keep that from them is for some sort of revenge. Don't Act like that.

I Don't think it's rude. You don't talk to them and they show no interest in their grand children. Why should you tell them something that they're not going to care about?

That is not the right reason to have a baby. They probably won't care anyways if they don't care about your others.

No, it would not be rude. Send them a baby announcment when you have your child. Having a baby is YOUR business, not your in-laws.

If you don't talk to them then don't bother telling them.
If you talk to them, just mention it to let them know.
