If you were looking at onion epidermal cells from an onion bulb:

1. Anacharis has chloroplasts and onion epidermis does not
2. nucleus and nucleoli
3. Mitochondria have a smooth outer membrane and a highly folded inner membrane. Cellular respiration happens in the mitochndria. Chloroplasts have a double membrane on the outside and stacks of membrane disks (stacks are grana, individual disks are thyakoids) in a gelatinous matrix (stroma) on the inside. Photosynthesis happens in the chloroplasts.
