Choose the one on the far right, all of those are TOP of the LINE PCS, and they wont be outdated for a while. They also all come with vista...
PS: It doesnt matter what brand you get really... Whats inside of the computer is all the same as any other brand...
The only difference in BRAND is who puts the thing together, and what the laptop physically looks like design wise, but thats just plastic...
Its like BMW VS HONDA, if they both had the same exact engines it wouldnt really matter, itd just be about what look appeals to you the most. In computers, they all have the same engine.

Macbook professional 15" and an ipad 2 regardless if that is asus, acer, hp... all of them suck and may have consistent upkeep. interior the top all of them run domicile windows, ineffective. no longer in common words can a mac run the effective mac OS yet also domicile windows... hell even mutually... The Mac OS is finished sixty 4 bit, makes use of open cl to apply the teraflops of unused skill held up interior the photos card for applications, finished use of napping cores and depending on the quick and effective UNIX... so no count the specs in a computing device, it wont virtually get the skill out of what the hardware is able to. Macs are not to any extent further for "artsy human beings" they're extra perfect in each and every element and any "artsy" professional will use adobe products that is flow platform.

Laptops age the quickest in terms of computers because they are not upgradeable like desktops tend to be.
Dell's xps m1210 is very light and compact. it could be configured nicely. Gateway® NX270S could be configured to $1200 and is only 14", with a nice 2 gigs of ram and 1.6 dual core processor.

You will not be able to match either of these machines for under $2100, it runs about $2600 from dell.
