All religions should be categorized under "mythology and folklore". The "Religion and Spirituality" category on Yahoo Answers and the "Mythology and Folklore" category are identical, in my opinion.

You're right that one person's myth is another person's religion. That said, very few theists think of their *own* religion as a myth. I'm Wiccan, and the main reason I'll sometimes post here is we don't get as much heckling from the more fundamentalist Christians that way... that, and the questions stay around a little longer, because there are fewer of them.

Because Christians don't see their book as mythology, they see it as fact. Which is why so many fundamentalists are lobbying to get it taught as fact in science class. Frankly, I'm glad they don't come here that often. There aren't nearly as many rude and abusive answers to Wiccan and Pagan questions under this section as there are in the R&S section. Seems very few Christians on this site respect others' points of view (not that I'm surprised).
