Everyone is born with different aptitudes, disabilities and circumstanses, hence everyone is born equally unique.

To me, neither is true.

Firstly, these two statements don't differ much in essence. They are trying to say the same thing from different perspectives.

When we say "everyone is equal" or "everyone is born equal", that sounds more like a political or religious propaganda. It is indeed an idealistic view but is not very realistic. These statements will do good if you are running for election or introducing your own cult. It is an ideal privilege to be equal but realistically speaking, this theory has never held true and will never hold true.

We know everyone is NOT equal and everyone is NOT born equal. That's why we wish we are equal and are born equal. This is just our wish. We have divisions in society, racism and whatnot... Our civilisation, surroundings and thinkings themselves are obstacles to making us equal.

We can be equal only to a certain extent. In other words, equality also has a limit.

Both statements are equally true, and equally false. In some respects, all of us are born equal, and ARE equal. We all deserve the same rights and the same respect. However, in physical terms, we are obviously not all born equal; look to physically and mentally handicapped people as an example.

A more subtle point, though, relates to opportunity. If all people are born with the same rights, does that mean we deserve the same opportunities? The semantics of this question are important. What does the term "rights" imply? I do not believe that all people deserve the same opportunities. It would remove all that is interesting from life.

I prefer the prior because people are not born "equally"--with equal resources, situations, circumstances, traits, and capacities. The latter case implies that people are created with equal status and equal abilities. The former is vague enough to deduce otherwise.

Everyone in the set that you address is equal insofar as everyone is mortal and in that specific group, a human being.

The first statement reads more finely into that than the second in my opinion--hence my preference.

Everyone is born equal. From that point on circumstances, environment, education, relationships and personnel beliefs may alter that equality. Your formative years are vital to the decisions and paths you choose throughout your life. Everyone makes bad choices in there life, learn from those mistakes and don't repeat them. Education is the key to social status and financial success. With education you can be anything you want to be. Whether you are born into an upper class family or born in the ghetto.....you are faced with choices everyday, You're not born with a guarantee that life is going to be easy, but you are given opportunities to take advantage of.

Everyone is equal throughout there life when it concerns their freedom of choice, freedom of speech, freedom of religion.

Only in America

In essense, both statement are correct.

I would like to think that, but even with the new generation,no one is born equal, and not everyone is equal. Women in other countries are treated poorly, many don't know how to read or write. Men still get paid more then women,it's just an unjust world, when you find a just place, tell me.

Neither The concept is that of equality before the law. It is clear that some are born superior to others. Is Dolly Parton equal to all other women? Was Einstein equal to all other people? Some have superior bodily attributes, other in intellect. But equal, not hardly.

I agree with, "every one is equal" more. One being an object or person.

Everything has existed forever, material & energy wise, but in different physical forms and energies. Everything is interconnected and shares community, each thing and person contributes to some other thing, non-living & living things, and share balance and moderations. I think, this is what we all have in common and why every one is equal. We are all part of the circle of life.

Equal does not mean identical...we embraced by meaning of being a human...Equal at all means..from the beginning to the end..Within that equality we created divisions, man woman, strong /weak, good/bad and so on...no matter what we still humans...anything else creates nothing but drama, sometimes tragedies...just because we choose to be something else but humans...man/woman, this/that...That simple if not complicate anything...Out of that simplicity a lot of clarity would be obtained..

Everyone is equal. One or the other may have more money, fame, notoriety, or opportunity. Some may be more ignorant, disabled, out of touch, mentally ill or poor. But no matter what category one falls in, the Creator loves us all. Each of us has potential to go beyond the labels we are given and to surprise others by becoming more than is expected of us. I choose to transcend limitations and instill in others the desire to transcend the limitations placed on them by others. People who have become "successful" became that way by grabbing opportunities, and not believing others that told them to be complacent and happy in their place.

None of the above! Equality is a math-myth which has nothing to do with the reality of human existance! Still as Humans we are all members of the Family of Man and equally just another beast that has walked the earth!
