To get rid of a spider is to collect it in some sort of container and release it outside. They may be stunned with a small amount of bug spray, but if its a huntsman, would you consider keeping it around as it keeps the flys and other creepy crawlys out of the house. But I wouldnt want it in my bedroom, would relocated it. Keep the daddy long legs too, although their venom is strong, they can not penetrate human skin, so are not a threat to us, a major plus is they kill the white tails (which collect bacteria from any surface they pass over, and create a horrible infection on human skin).

I have heard that hairspray works on wasps so should work on spiders but I haven't tried it. Good luck!

The reason being? They are impervious to alot of things, they don't stun.
