im thinking about getting my lip pierced. the problem is that i am allergic to metal. when i buy earrings, i have to buy the hypoallergenic kind. i was wondering if someone could tell me if they have those kinds of lip studs and rings....

Why would you want to put holes in perfect lips?
Lips are kissable and sensitive, but I am damned if I find anything attractive or even remotely erotic about piercings.
The fact you have a metal allergy should keep you away from this sort of fad. I treated a girl recently who had her tongue pierced,, It became infected and started to rot in her mouth. She now has lost part of her tongue as a result. Suing the piercing shop is not going to make her tongue come back or help her speech.
It can happen with lips too. I have seen some horrific effects of many piercings and cannot tell you enough of the risks you take in getting involved in this money making and silly fad!
These people are not professionals who have had any medical training or learned any methods of good aesepsis and are largely unaware of the damage they cause by promoting this idiotic practice and inducing unwittingly infections from unclean practices. DON'T !........be your own beautiful self
