Men of honor, the true story of the first black Navy diver. Cuba Gooding Junior plays the young man. It is moving, interesting, true, romantic (well, just a little), and makes me shiver when he overcomes odds that I never have and never will have to face. It's inspiring really.
Memento is the best thriller/drama I've seen in a few years. It's about a guy who has lost all short-term memory. It is told backwards in time and you REALLY understand how it feels not to remember anything for more than about 30 seconds. warning, though - you have to pay attention or you will be confused. This is not a lazy-day movie.

5 Hitchcock films: VERTIGO(BEST MOVIE EVER), Rear Window, North by Northwest, Psycho, and The Birds.Recent films, King Kong 1933 and 2005 version, and LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE. Also, Crash, The Descent, and The DaVinci Code. These are films worth seeing again and again and these are films you will not forget and will talk about for a while.
