Me and my hubby just bought satin sheets and we both love how comfortable they are. The problem we are having is that we are constantly waking up to fix the sheets and I was want to know if there is a way to stop them from being slipper but not ruin the texture.

Satin is a type of weave that can be used on any type of weavable fiber. The nature of the pattern means that it is slippery. I personally prefer a plain or twill weave made of Supima cotton. Egyptian cotton used to be the gold-standard of cotton because the native varieties have long fiber length, so they are soft and durable. several years ago some farmers imported other varieties of cotton that have a higher yield per acre, but a shorter fiber length, because it is grown in egypt it is still legal to call it "egyptian cotton", even though it is not the same as people once knew. Supima is a specific variety of cotton that has a long fiber length and is incredibly soft. Since you are buying a specific variety, you are guarenteed a more consistent product.

The idea behind satin sheets is that they are supposed to be slippery. If you would like nice smooth sheets that don't slip around so much get some nice polished cotton sheets - percale - with a high thread count. The higher the count - the smoother the sheet.

Crumple up some news paper and fit them in the pockets after you have fitted them over the mattress so the newspaper is sheet pocket between the mattress and the sheets.
The extra text will hold them in place
