India has prospered economically but socially they remain pretty stagnant. Consider that India's good fortune was largely imported vis a vis other nations establishing workforces there for much less than it cost in their own nations. But it still stands that India relies upon that reciprocal realtionship; cheap english speaking labor in exchange for financial investment. I doubt a "superpower" could emerge from such a co-dependent relationship, particualarly one which still relies upon a heirarchial caste system to define social and economical value It's a little primititve in the 21st century.

It depends upon what you mean by super powered country. India already has "the bomb" so in that sense they already are a super power. If you are talking about economically, then no as they are still considered a 3rd world nation. Like so many 3rd world nations only a hand full of people are getting filthy rich while the majority starve (hmm, sounds like the USA); why do you think that so many of their engineers leave India and take jobs in other countries?

China is a superpower and has been for decades. India nevertheless has a lengthy time period to bypass in the previous they're seen a means in any respect, they have intense better 1/2 and toddlers themes to handle, merely having nukes would not make a rustic a international means. the european isn't a international means at it nevertheless fails to fuction like a unmarried unit. There are too many disparate factors. once china deregulates their economic equipment and opens the yuan up for investors the euro and the dollar will plummet. The failure of the euro will deliver about the starting up of the proper of the european.
