they have to sacrifice their eggs for the rest of the farm to eat them... i think. its been 6 months since ive read that book, but i have a good memory :)

I have hens and they are totally happy chicks! They sacrifice nothing that I can think of, their eggs aren't fertile. I know nothing about any book.
