Unless you are in some desperate need for rebounds, even though West isn't the greatest rebounder, I would never do this trade. West has been inconsistent since coming back from injury and although Roy is a rookie stud, he doesn't compare to McGrady.

I would do it. McGrady, despite his overall great play, is injury prone, and could be out for 3 weeks tomorrow. And, Yao will be coming back in the next 2-3 weeks, so T-mac's numbers will drop a little. Both Roy and West are on teams with little talent other than Zach Ranolph for Roy, and Jackson and Paul for West. Roy has easily become the front-runner for rookie of the year annd is averaging 15 ppg, and is having a great year. West has been very good since returning from his injury, so he owuld be a worthwhile pick up. My advice would be to do this trade.

It depends on how many you keep and what the criteria are for keeping them. If you keep a fairly large number of players and can keep them indefinitely this trade makes sense. You're getting two good young players for an older injury prone player. Of course it depends on whether West & Roy would be kept. Particularly in a salary cap type league this is a good trade. However if you only keep two or three guys, or if you think you can win this year, I'd probably pass on it.

dont waste a good player like tmac for d west and b roy. d west lost his rthyme and have been scoring in the 10s and grabbing 5+ rebs only. AND roy in the other hand does not compare to tmac. TRADE tmac for steve nash or areanas or dirk or KG; also send along a weakling with some skills. remember that tmac is a high quality player now before yao ming comes back. trade him before yao comes back.

its a tough question, but id do it

tmac can either be lights out and score 30 something, or not play that well

roy is definately ROY (haha get it) and west is a good player
he just returned from being injured all season, so a slow start is expected

anyways, if you add up the numbers you get from both west and roy, you'd get more in basically every stat category then youd get from tmac

You cvan get more value from T-Mac. Those guys are not upper eshlon players. Try to package T-mac and hot player to get Nash, or Arenas. These guys have a history of staying healthier throughout the entire season.
