Virginia.

Growing up a military child I've lived so many places. Virginia was my favorite because it had 4 seasons, and Gorgeous scenery. The weather was wonderful and the air was so clean. Everything is just so bright green as well. I loved it!

Boston.....Fenway Park (the best baseball venue in the world), a lot of history, a lot of excellent colleges and universities, great restaurants and the best seafood, decent people (a bit strange if you don't know them, they tend to avoid eye contact on the street and generally pretend you don't exist....but usually nice and fairly intelligent when you get to talk to them, generally speaking of course)
Los Angeles...Dodger Stadium (maybe the 3rd best park in the country since I'm thinking of baseball stadiums), extremely diverse population (although starting to be dominated by Latinos and Latino culture), great weather year round, beach accessible, snowboarding and skiing less than 2 hours drive away, a lot of good sushi, casual life style (you can be whoever you are without feeling much social pressure to conform to the norm, because there isn't much norm, especially in Hollywood and Venice Beach. Traffic is horrendous but if you live near work it's tolerable. Also it's expensive, but jobs pay well.

The Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. It's beautiful! It's also a good place because the towns and cities there are big but not too big. It's also a good place to have a family. Or, if you are looking at going to college(like myself) it's not too far from Virginia Tech.

I have been happy with the Northeast. Yes, it has its cold days and snow...but only for a couple of months. It rarely has massive floods, hurricanes, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, and tsunamis.

It has beautiful springs, green and lush summers (not that many droughts), brilliant falls...and snow!

Oh, and the bugs aren't that big here either.

I still want to travel the US quite a bit...Alaska, New Mexico, and Nevada...are some of the spots I'd like to check out before I check...out!

I've had the chance to live in many US places. If I had the chance to move back I'd either move to Boston or San Francisco.
I enjoy the weather in both, I enjoy the people, the political views of majority of the city.

I like California because the weather's not extreme where we live and there's lots and lots to see and do. Not to mention people here are pretty hip and cool, infact it's like a requirement to be Californian! I was born here and have lived here all my life. There's an irritating amount of immigration problems though.
