I do not think that increasing the space of your question will make you seem more correct or more intelligent. Listen to yourself talk. Democrats obviously see the future more clearly than Republicans. By the way, where is Osama bin Laden? How come we have not caught him yet? It definitely is not because of liberals. Maybe, he is in bed with our straight Bush. Just a conjecture.

First off nobody went to war with Afghanistan. We all went there in search of Aikada and to roust the terrorists. We got a few enclaves and at the same time brought down the Taliban. We are still there much like Iraq. Where is Bin Ladden? A good guess might be Bush's ranch.
Excuse the spelling I'm getting a little Bushed.

If you were convinced 9/11 was caused by Osama bin Laden and his band of men, how could you object to going into Afhghanistan after him. The problem is, there are only 3 things in Afghanistan: 1. Osama bin Laden 2. Poppy fields for international heroin production 3 the future oil pipeline route for oil coming from the Caspian Sea. Bush has made sure we got the last two, as heroin is all over the big cities like London and NYC, and the pipeline is in the works, but what happened to going after Osama, the reason we went there in the first place? Bush stated that isn't a priority anymore. Interesting eh?

Where did you get the idea that dems were pretending? As I recall, most everybody I talked to was willing to go to war against Bin Ladin IN Afghanistan. Dems and reps. And many did sign up to do so. It was when bu$h and cheney and rummy took us into an illegal war in Iraq that people quit joining the military. AND, I would be willing to bet that if they were asked to sign up to go to Afghanistan, and if they could believe that, many would do so. I would and I am a 66 year old female. People are angry because we were tricked by bu$h and are killing iraqui people and way too many american soldiers in a never ending war. What did Iraq do to us???? answer that.

Afghanistan was supported by everyone; including France. So, going to Afghanistan was understandable. However, Iraq has taken the U.S. attention off Afghanistan causing it to slip.
I think that there can be no true plan about how to prevent terrorism unless you lock down your borders with a wall. So a liberal's plan? Work with other nations to have cooperation to track down what terrorists you can. To go on a goose chase for terrorism as a single nation is ludicrous. Especially when these terrorists can go into some states and have protection that the U.S. can't just go to war with.

These Dems really tick me off when they speak without knowing facts. I guess Mr. G-Man didn't know that bin Laden was offered to Clinton on a silver platter. But in his infinite stupidity, Clinton didn't accept! You remember Clinton don't you--the president of the US who committed perjury and should have been sent to jail! It's my understanding that Clinton is a liberal, so I guess it is the liberals fault that bin Laden got away! And anyone who knows the terrain over there knows that trying to find one man is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Also, any liberal who believes that their representatives in Congress didn't have the same info prior to the war that Bush did, yet gave their OK, is hiding their head in the sand. The liberals have no ideas of their own for anything, yet b*tch about what is being done. The liberals want to cover their butts so they say that Bush lied [NOT!] and "tricked" them into war! What BS!!!!!!!! Either they're lying about Bush lying or they're idiots!

Yeah! Bush is a hero because he went in and got Osama and revenged the deaths of 9/11 and now we're all living in peace! We didn't even have to become a police state to do it! Oh wait, none of that is true? Dang!
It must be the liberals' fault.
Grow up!

Ok, lets get one thing straight...The taliban are still very much in control of Afghanistan BECAUSE the US didn't finish what they started, and OBL is still free and clear and it doesn't look like Bush is going to get him any time soon either. The ONLY reason why there are now terrorists in Iraq is because Bush PUSHED them into there with his policies and war making.
As far as plans go, why are you going to the Democratic party to dig you out of the hole the GOP made? As if "The Decider" would listen any way...he never listened to the Iraq Study Group which gave him ideas that he just threw away.

We did support the war in Afghanistan -- and you are misinformed about what is going on in Afghanistan, the Taliban are still there and they are planning a major offensive in the spring. We didn't fininsh the job there and instead got bogged down in Iraq.
