It is obvious you do not understand the school part. Your question is written so poorly that it is difficult to understand. If you have learned the remainder of your list as well as the school portion, you are in serious trouble.

I think kids understand for the most part. A good parent can teach a child right from wrong, but as an individual that child has to learn how to make his/her own decisions.

If you give your child the right directions, they tend to walk them. but if your child thinks they know everything (which most kids do) they eventually hit hard times and fall back on their teachings that was given to them by their parents. That is when I, as a mom, can lean back and say "told ya so", but in the same breath of air offer a hug and support.

i personally love kids- especially the older ones. The key to a happy parent-child relationship is openess. If you feel comfortable enough to talk to your parents about anything, things go a lot smoother.

What i really wish though is that kids understand that parents dont say thing to trick you into thinking things are bad for you- most times they have already been there and they just want to protect you.

well , i guess all parents are guilty of saying that kids dont understand but arent kids also guilty of saying parents dont understand. the biggest difference is , as parents we have been there and done that and we dont want our kids to make the same mistakes we made and we want better for our kids than we have had , have now or will have in the future.

I wouldnt consider myself a parent but currently i am taking care of my 13 year old niece while my sis and her husband are on a cruise (it was my birthday gift to them) and she comes to me with pretty much everything cuz im yougner then my sis. there is a lot besides wat u said that she needs to learn she needs to learn about stupid things like wat to do if you have a huge blemish on your face and other things like if she wanna be ______ whn i grow up wat are sumthing she should do. i dont mean to sound rude or demanding or over protective if sum of u kids out there seem to think i am but trust me when your older maybe even older then me cuz my mom still dusnt get sum of the things i do, you'll understand and appreciate the things you parents do 4 you and the things you may have done wrong cuz you really didnt understand them. give em a chance maybe thats another thing you need to lear when your a kid

I know! As a fellow child, I understand!
My parents are always saying I don't unerstand this, and I wouldn't get that. I do! Why do they do it!
Please, some parent fess up and admit that you do do it!
WE KNOW YOU DO IT ON PURPOSE!!!
