First of all, I am sorry to say but lime wire is illegal. Try walmart.com music if you have a PC or choose a subscription one if you download a lot (Try napster to go. I tried it and liked it.). That is as cheap as it gets without breaking the law.

allofmp3.com is legal according to Russian law (Where it is based). The cost is based on the file size, a typical song runs about 20 cents.

Yahoo Music can get you almost any song you want for $5 a month,$10.00 a month, if you want to use a portable device with it, unlimited downloads, many free. you just have to make sure you use PlaysForSure(sp)? as your downloading protocol so it can download to and from any brand of device.
