Jim Kelly was never this bad. Grossman could be one of the worst quarterbacks ever to play in a playoff game, let along a super bowl. It was embarassing to watch.

The Colts should have voted Rex Grossman their MVP. without him they might not have won.

Unlike Rex Grossman, Jim Kelly performed consistently in the regular season.

Rex's performance throughout the year was widely inconsistent. The Bears were unable to establish the running game and that put the pressure on Rex to deliver. Throwing into double coverage is not the way to go.

It's pretty clear that Rex isn't yet consistent enough game-to-game to NOT warrant bringing in another QB to challenge him next year for the starting job.

Rex Grossman can go somewhere with that mess.......I still can't understand why you would throw 2 unnecessary passes at that point in the game...... Oh yeah, watch your mouth about Jim Kelly, that man is a legend. Just because he didn't show up in 4 consecutive Super Bowls does NOT make him a "classic choker", at least he did make it to 4 of them........even so, his numbers alone still put him up there with the best QB's in the NFL.

that isn't any longer only you. everyone has been questioning how Rex managed to stay in see you later as he has. i do not imagine Chicago has some thing to lose through putting Brian Griese in as placing out QB. I recommend, they couldn't probable play worse than they have been. i wager it took my Cowboys beating them to finally open human beings's eyes to the actual competition interior the league on the instantaneous.

I was thinking that anytime would have been a good time to put in Brian Griese.

he was good enough to win a college football championship. however, as he has proven all year.....he is NOT an NFL caliber quarterback.
