They all test for the same hormone in her urine, so I would say that yes, they're all fairly accurate. If it would make you feel any better, then by all means go to the store and buy another test. However, I would recommend waiting till the morning so she can use 1st morning urine (which would have the highest concentration of hormone).

I don't quite understand your question, but I'll try to answer. The doctor's office test is going to be more accurate than the one you get from a pharmacy. The doctor will likely take blood and/or do an ultrasound. The only way to know for sure that she's pregnant is to go to the doctor. Also, if she is pregnant, the doctor can start right away with prenatal care, such as tests for genetic defects and general health screenings, recommended for all expectant mothers.
Congratulations, if you are going to be a father!

Pregnancy tests test for a specific hormone that is only present if the woman is pregnant (or has very recently been pregnant). As a result, while false results certainly have happened, they are almost ALWAYS false negatives, not false positives. After 3 positive results, I'm fairly confident she's pregnant. Go ahead and take a home test; I'm betting the results will also be positive.

Those OTC pregnancy tests are 99.5% accurate. So accurate, if you get a positive result, you are to assume you are pregnant. The doctor's tests still have a margin of error. So, I guess you are to assume that your wife is pregnant.

If she took three tests of any kind and they are all positive then I'd say CONGRATULATIONS! It's pretty safe to assume you are going to have a baby.
